Nu'alolo Kai
This was the field trip we took to the west coast of Kauai. It's only accessible by boat, and we had to swim to shore. There is an archaeological site (temples, burials, etc) on this side of the island.

Sweet Home Long Island
The Lantana is doing quite well.
The caladiums that I planted and thought had died are blooming in all the pots where I had planted other things because I thought the Caladiums were dead.
This passion flower looks like it's sticking its tongue out at you, doesn't it?
Find out if the fruit is edible on these. The plant is just loaded with little yellow fruits.

Friday -Monday
I still miss the flowers at home! Prince looks great. Can't wait to eat the peppers!
Mahaulepu Beach (near the cave where we excavated)
Hike to Kilohana Crater
Wild passion flower in bloom...there was even fruit on it!
View from the edge of the crater
Looking gross
Scenic overlook on the way up north
Limahuli Preserve (where we're staying)
The local flora
I think this is the mountain from South Pacific
Monday's hike up the mountain...I can't believe I crossed this!
Bamboo grows pretty high around here
